This episode happened to fall right on my birthday. So we led off with a visit from my brother Jeff, in which he sent his greetings, and gave me a really nice musical gift (a double vinyl album re-release of The Who Sell Out).
Then the musical guests arrived to the party. First up, Cyndi Dawson and Henry Seiz of the Cynz, all the way from New Jersey. Later on, we stayed right in New Jersey and chatted with Deena Shoshkes and Jon Fried of The Cucumbers. Both groups have really great new albums out, and it was a pleasure to chat with them.
