In this episode, Gail George returns to the show, all the way from Edinburgh, Scotland! She’s been there since the fall, and we caught up once again. We talked about the way the various holidays are celebrated in Scotland, and food and drink–including the legendary dish haggis. But even more exciting, Gail’s been using her time abroad to write and hone a whole new batch of songs. That bodes well. She’ll be coming back to Sacramento later in the spring, but for now, it’s been fun having her give us live reports from Scotland. It definitely sounds like a place I’d like to visit.
