Woody Radio DJ Mike Show #466 3/9/2024: Interview with Michael Wiener and Jim Coleman of The Children…!

In this episode, Michael Wiener and Jim Coleman, 2/3 of The Children…, join me to chat about their most recent effort, “A Sudden Craving”. Their music has been described as “Gothic blues ambient” and “gently agitated”. It was born in a couple of pre-pandemic recording sessions, where the creativity and spontaneity flowed. Then Michael, Jim, and their partner Phil Puleo listened to the recordings, recorded a little more, and sculpted and polished the recording in post production. It makes for a good listen, and you’ll really begin to understand the rumblings under the surface. The trust and intuition is really appareent between these three men, and their other guest musicians. We had a really great, free-flowing conversation about their recording process and their dynamic live shows. Check out The Children… at https://www.erototox.com/the-children
