Epic finish to The Who’s legendary Woodstock set, August 16, 1969, 5:00 a.m. They went on hours late, after an iconic performance by Sly and the Family Stone. Their ragged yet magnificent set was an uphill battle that night (Google it), and their show ended just as the sun rose. They finished Tommy, and came out for an encore of My Generation. The crowd was lucky to experience this:
